Born to a faun in the wilderness, Xeni only saw her human father, a druid, rarely. She was raised to be in the forests but always she heard the call of the sea. Her mostly absent father understood the wanderlust more than her mother. He gave her an excellently made wooden staff fashioned from a rare tree deep within the Magwi Expanse.

She came to Port Peril in search of her destiny, and after a few drinks at a tavern called the Formidably Maid, she went down to the docks to take in a view of the sea. The last thing she remembered was a blow to the back of her head and the waves rushing up to meet her.
