Title: General Manager, Calloway’s Castaways Age: 42
Background:
Marco was born in San Diego to second-generation Filipino-American parents and raised in a restaurant family. His parents ran a well-loved Filipino seafood spot, and Marco grew up with a deep respect for hospitality and kitchen culture. After working in hotels and bars up and down the West Coast and Gulf, he took a chance on a job in Jacksonville—and found his dream job at Calloway’s.
Appearance:
Lean and fit with a beach tan, a short undercut fade, and often a five o'clock shadow, Marco wears branded Castaways shirts (usually unbuttoned at the top), board shorts, and flip-flops when he can get away with it. His tattoos peek out from his sleeves—waves, hibiscus, and one in Baybayin script honoring his grandfather. Always has a towel over his shoulder or a clipboard in his hand.
Voice & Style:
Marco speaks with the easy cadence of someone who’s lived on both coasts. He's fluent in restaurant slang, Taglish, and resort diplomacy. When needed, he can snap to military-style command. Usually, though, he operates with chill authority.
Personality:
