Christabell Hollis, known to friends as Bell, was raised as an only child in an upper-middle-class neighborhood. Her father, a self-made entrepreneur from a poor background, and her mother, a night-shift nurse, instilled in her both privilege and empathy. Beautiful, bright, and socially popular, Bell also had a strong sense of justice, aligning herself with activist groups from an early age.

In college, she pursued a Business and Finance degree, excelling academically and socially. But by her junior year, the pressure cracked her focus. Staying on campus over the summer, she fell in with a counterculture crowd—students who questioned systems, got high, and debated social issues. The experience resonated deeply.

She switched her major to Political Science, lost interest in corporate ambitions, and began embracing ideals of personal enlightenment and social change. After graduating with a 3.0, she moved back home. Initially claiming a “gap year,” her inertia stretched into two years of drifting. By her third year at home, her parents gave her an ultimatum: get a job or lose financial support.

On May 30, 2025, Bell interviewed for a bartending job at Calloway’s Castaways, a beachside club run by Jessie Calloway. During the interview, something shifted—reality bent. That moment marked her Awakening to the true nature of the world. Subtle patterns she’d noticed—predicting accidents, finding things at just the right time, changing people’s moods—now had meaning. Her magick had always been there, bubbling under the surface, but this moment made it real.

Now, Bell is navigating life as a newly Awakened Cult of Ecstasy Mage. Her path is intuitive, emotionally charged, and tied to sensation and serendipity. She still lives at home, still drives the family minivan, but her world has cracked open—and she’s only just begun to explore what’s possible.
