You attune your mind to the whispers of carrion-feeders, enabling you to sense, communicate with, and command crows, ravens, and other corvids within range.
Locate Corvids: You instinctively know the direction and approximate number of corvids within the area. This does not grant precise locations but gives a general sense of density and movement.
Communicate: You may speak with corvids as though using speak with animals, allowing you to ask questions and receive simple responses. Intelligent corvids (such as familiars or awakened birds) may offer more detailed information.
Command: Once per casting, you may issue a simple command (as command, but only for corvids). This can include tasks like scouting, retrieving small objects, or harassing a target. Corvids are not compelled to obey if the request is obviously dangerous or contrary to their instincts.
Enhanced Awareness: If at least three corvids within range are watching an area, you can perceive their collective observations as a clairaudience/clairvoyance effect centered on their position. This lasts up to 1 round per caster level.
This ability may be used any number of times per day.

This enhanced version of Carrions' Whisper grants all the benefits of the original ability, but also allows the caster to summon and temporarily unify a Murder of Crows into a coordinated troop, following the Troop Subtype Rules (Bestiary 6, pg. 306).
Summon Murder of Crows: As a standard action, the caster can gather and command a murder of corvids, forming a Troop of Crows (use the Troop of Rats stat block as a base, replacing climb with flight and adjusting attacks to be beak-based). This troop follows commands as though under a mass animal trance effect but retains free movement and can attack enemies.
Troop Traits: The murder of crows fights as a swarm-like unit, dealing automatic damage to creatures within its space. It is immune to single-target effects but is vulnerable to area attacks.
Scatter and Reform: As a free action, the caster may command the troop to disperse, at which point it ceases to function as a troop and becomes a normal flock of birds. The troop may be reformed with a standard action if at least half of its original HP remains.
Mass Awareness: The caster may use the clairaudience/clairvoyance effect through any corvid in the murder, effectively expanding their sensory network across the entire range of the spell.
The summoned Murder of Crows Troop persists for the duration of the spell or until reduced to 0 HP. Once per day, the caster may expend this spell’s energy to summon a Swarm of Crows (as per the Murder of Crows swarm stat block in Pathfinder Bestiary 4) instead of a troop.
