Cardello is the oldest human member of the group, at 32, and a seasoned sergeant. Disgusted by this poor leadership in the Talden army, he left with his Captain Taychar and the two decided to engage as swords and agents for hire. Both knew that they would need others for their outfit, both fellow sell-swords and additional agents, in order to maximize their effectiveness, and therefore the prices they could command.
