Lucky-chan is a data spirit who has taken on the form of the Asian lucky cat statue meme.  He appears as the lucky cat to go with his very catlike tendencies.  Lucky-chan’s primary interface is an electronic lucky cat tablet owned by Wai Lin connected to wifi and to the Digital Web.  He’s able to use the modern electronic connections to jump from device to device.

Wai Lin’s awakening blew a hole through the Digital Web creating a flow of quintessence that solidified into a node.  Lucky-chan was in a nearby sector of the Web and was drawn into the vortex of the awakening.  By the time Wai Lin, Lucky-chan, and reality stabilized, Lucky-chan had bonded with Wai Lin, and presented himself as a friendly spirit.  Lucky-chan disguises his access to a node by presenting a lucky Chinese coin of Tass to Wai Lin every week as a “gift.”

Lucky-chan is able to use his Healing ability while inhabiting any device.  He can only use his Paradox Nullification while Wai Lin is using the Lucky Cat tablet and playing the Lucky cat game on it for at least an hour.
